Sahr S. Allieu-Kokobaye is a visionary leader from Sierra Leone whose deep commitment to societal development has been evident from the start. His passion led to the creation of the Advocacy for Children’s Education (AFCE-SL), a non-governmental organisation he founded in 2017 with the goal of transforming lives in his homeland. Since its inception, AFCE-SL has empowered countless children, youth, and young adults through fundraising, education, and developmental projects aimed at creating lasting change in Sierra Leone.
Widely regarded as a beacon of hope, Sahr’s relentless drive has inspired people of all ages. His work goes far beyond education, extending into health, sports, arts, and entrepreneurship, as well as crucial community development initiatives. His leadership has paved the way for impactful projects like feeding the homeless, empowering people with disabilities, and launching skills training programs, all of which have earned him partnerships with major organisations such as NASSIT, NP, Freetown City Council, SLBC, AYV, Orange-SL, UTB, and several government ministries.
With a strong academic foundation, including top results in WASSCE in Sierra Leone, an International Baccalaureate Degree in Ghana, and current medical training in the UK specialising in orthopedic surgery, Sahr exemplifies the power of determination and excellence. He consistently seeks opportunities for growth, actively engaging in business, medical, and educational conferences across Africa, the UK, and the USA—even attending conferences at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
